Right. And I lost 20 pounds today.
Keyes was a loose cannon who sounded off ad nauseum with proposals considered crackpot in most conservative circles. Reparations? A draft when we don't need one?
Can't read things that might upset their agenda cart, friend.
That's not even the point, read Howlin's #854 post to me. She says it best.
The abolition of slavery is an example of the changes that will have to be made in this country in regards to the right to life of the unborn. The anti-slavery side accepted the Mason-Dixon line increment, elected Lincoln, and in the end, the slavers had to give up their "property" because of an Executive Order and then a Constitutional Amendment.
I hope that law and not war will prevail in this case.
"Anybody with a brain knew that narses meant that my sister just should have died."
Really? But then since you claim that it was NOT fetal stem cell research, and since you've seen my answer, how can you lie like that?
So where does that put you? :)
You've been "fighting the 'right wing Christian Jesus Freak culture of life and compassion' or whatever we are for '5 years'?!" ??
LOLOL!!
We've been here getting it done for the GOP for a LONG, LONG time, inspite of all the Country Club Blue Blood Infanticide Culture Rockefeller LOSING ELECTIONS Republicans for DECADES!!!
Sheesh...
Roe v. Wade will never be overturned in this Country and it is not the most important issue for the majority of party members. And that's just the way it is.
Thanks.
You know, I've gone back and re-read all your post to everybody on this thread and I've decided that you're just not the kind of person I even care to ARGUE with.
You're certainly not worth the effort and you're just too judgmental to even bother with.
As simply as I can put it, I don't like people like you. And I am thankful that the majority of the people in MY party aren't like you.
If the Republicans won't deliver on overturning Roe now, then we have been duped.
If the Republicans won't deliver on overturning Roe now, then we have been duped.
If the Republicans won't deliver on overturning Roe now, then we have been duped.
If the Republicans won't deliver on overturning Roe now, then we have been duped.
If the Republicans won't deliver on overturning Roe now, then we have been duped.
Darn, sorry for the 'dupe'.
But Keyes is THE consummate conservative, so we've been told for the last five years.
And if he could just get on the ticket......well, you know...
How come nobody can show me one documented time George W. Bush said he would work towards overturning Roe V. Wade.
He was as much in outer space as "conservative," so citing Keyes is to punch a strawman.
As usual, you come down on the liberal side.
'These people' are the majority in the GOP, whether you are aware of it or not, or whether you like it or not, Hildy.
And your confusion is obvious, when you think that pro-lifers desire to return to a culture of life is some kind of 'reward' to pro-lifers.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
So rather than admit your lies and insults are in error, you simply say "go away". Sorry, if you post lies, I'll point them out. If you defend killing babies (even to extend other lives) I'll point out the blood running down your arms into your keyboard. As for your faction in the GOP, well, you earn your rewards as you call Catholic thinking "reprehensible", you reap what you sow when you call allies "nutjobs" and when you sip from the cup filled with the blood of innocent children, you earn eternal hellfire.
FGS, you're not even old enough to know HOW "we got it done" in the GOP.
And I might remind you of this: as much as you SNEER at us "Country Club Republicans" you "real, true conservatives" haven't fielded a candidate who can actually put you in power yet; so, in a sense, it is YOU who need US. We've got the money AND the votes, kiddo.
It's not a strawman around here; around here he's THE conservative statesman.
I was waiting to hear from you. You can say this all you want, but you just can't prove it. In fact, all the proof is against you, but you're so obsessed to the point of neurosis. I'd seek help if I were you.
Nobody expects to topple Roe all in one fell swoop. It would begin with recognition of the rights of the clearly viable unborn. Hey it can't make any LESS sense than "animal rights," and anyone who did to a dog or cat what they do to the live unborn would be seeing serious slammer time.
