As a young energetic Republican I find this site thought provoking. I was recently exposed to this site, have checked it out for a while, and registered today. A little about me: I am a young conservative college students surrounded by liberal and muslim - apologist who appreciates the insight you guys post on this site! Thanks for all you do, FreeRepublic!

Good for you - I lurked a good 4 months before registering.
What I like about it is in addition to all the half-assed opinions I can both read and submit, there are people here who are experts in many fields. There are fighter pilots, chemists, lawyers, bricklayers, electrical engineers, computer experts, and others ad nauseum.
FR could form it's own little Galt's Gulch if we wanted.
Warning - If posting a crappy story for discussion sake that you and nobody here agrees with, make sure your add "barf alert!" or something similar behind the title.
Oh, nobody likes vanities either.
