Easy - the WOD has popularized 'no knock' raids to the point where people think if someone is knocking down their door yelling 'police', that they're actually police. Criminals have picked up on this and are using it to their advantage.
No knocks are used in situations where they are not required too much. There needs to be something more vital than 'we think they might flush drugs down the toilet' to justify a no-knock raid.
uh....HELLO!!...it IS the policia's MO....no-knock raids, swat team mentality...HO! Welcome to the policia state, with all of its un-intended consequences....
