LOL! Good idea. The pepper sprayer should be built right into the camera so the photographer merely has to switch triggers and squeeze.
In CCW states, a lot of photojournalists aren't carrying pepper spray.
Even without pepper spray or a CCW, a tripod makes a nifty club.
