Try "The Thing."

The original is a classic. The remake is without a doubt the most overrated horror movie ever. Awful piece of garbage with elaborate but phoney FX.

The Thing, super movie. The original one from the '50's.

Another of my favorite oldies was The Day The Earth Stood Still.
