Of course he doesn't have a man-date.

And to think we could've had Pat Toomey on Sunday Morning shows talking about his wholehearted support of Bush's domestic and foreign agenda...
In a fantastic election season, this will be deemed the most serious misjudgment the GOP made.

SPECTER SAYS PRESIDENT DOES NOT HAVE A MANDATE
And you don't have the Chairmanship of the Judiciary.
(At least that pansy Frist had better not allow that to happen)
To: VaBthang4
Feed him to the wolves....send him over to FR.
To: VaBthang4
Not surprising when one puts political calculation ahead of principle as the President, Santorum, et al did.

"THIS GUY HAS TO GO!!!"
We're working on it.
To: VaBthang4
Specter may as well make his defection official, of course he won't, due to his position on the Judiciary Committee.

I've always thought the whole mandate idea was ludicrous. If you win, you have a mandate. Period. The guy who loses, he's the one who ain't got no mandate. :)
