I'm hoping and praying that these predictions are in part due to a new strategy by the Pentagon,ie: make it sound like its going to be really high casualties, then when it's not,you can say everyone is grateful, rather then the other way around, that plays right into the media hands, who will go on hollering about casualties. In my view, this is a war, and that is why war is horrible because very brave very good soldiers die.God Bless to the US Forces in Iraq.

Good read. I don't believe Runsfeld's military strategy is to waste lives to simply make the point of how difficult the takeover will be.

These poor Iraqi buggers, no doubt convinced by their leaders that they have a real chance, have no idea what's going to be unleashed on them.

Oh well...so be it. They didn't have to resist, after all.
