I agree with you about the MSM being accountable for their words. If, there is not a way to do it, then we should vote into law a way to make them accountable.

I agree. I don't think rights come without responsibilities. You have the right to drive a car but if don't do so responsibly that right can be taken away from you. It should be the same with free speech. You have the right present a news segment or print a newspaper article but that right should be taken away if it can be proven that you misrepresented facts intentionally.
We just went through a horrible election cycle where the majority of the media blatantly shilled for on candidate and presented it as "news." The good news they did such a poor job of appearing unbiased many people's eyes were opened to the situation.
Hopefully people don't forget the lessons that we've learned. Fox's numbers keep trending up and more people are turning to the Internet to verify news stories for themselves.

I think it's pretty recent. It's on Ha'aretz and look how white his hands are. The word on the street in Paris is that he is dead. I don't know why we are playing along with this charade.
I just saw a picture of him and the wife on my roadrunner news. When I maximized the pic, you can clearly see two lesions on his face in that same spot as the picture you posted.
They are holding hands, and his hands look like gloves. You can clearly see the wife's fingernails, and there are no nails on him.

I am convinced he has AIDS. If he had anything else they would say what it is and downplay it as being treatable - even some type of cancer. Everyone knows the last stages of AIDS is not treatable.
If Arafat has AIDS and has practiced homosexuality secretly for years, it should be made public. Clearly he didn't practice 'safe sex', whatever that is. The Arab culture/world treats homosexuals as pariahas, but maybe this would change if they knew that someone they supposedly love and look up to was a homosexual, himself, and indeed died of AIDs. Think of what Rock Hudson's final illness and death did for the disease in this country.
Homosexual sex is a very complicated issue in Arab culture. Apparently the Taliban used to rape boys. The rape of young boys is what creates the rage and shame in men when they grow up, which then strangely is taken out on women. I've read this is common practice.
Dan Rather should be sitting in prison now. CBS should be fined a couple of million, and put on probation for about 5 years.
I doubt that the propaganda in the old Soviet Union was any more blatant than the MSM has been this past year.

That picture is dated 6/11/04. I agree that the spot by his mouth (relatively new, compared to older pictures) looks like Kaposi Sarcoma.
I saw that. He jerked his hand away from Arafat so violently that he almost pulled the weak old man out of his chair. He threw him off balance and I thought, "OMG, what a show of disrespect." But your theory is very interesting.
