The rage and frustration of another Bush victory was more than many San Franciscans could take. As soon as Bush's re-election was confirmed in the middle of Wednesday, November 3, people started gathering at Powell and Market streets. By 5pm the crowd had swelled to several thousand.
The photographs below were taken at the rally and at the march that followed. Captions are provided only where needed.

That won't happen because they don't have the courage to strap a bomb on and blow themselves up. After this "rally" they all went home to : government housing, or government funded schools, or government teaching jobs, or locally government funded "bath houses," or their parents, or...you get the picture.

Um......no. Somebody needs to tell this jerk that President Bush was just reelected and received the largest number of votes any president has ever received...ever. Sheesh!

what does the symbol that looks like an "A" with a circle around it mean? one is shown in the first photo
it was sprayed on Mom's Bush sign, along with "Bush is a Facist" (sic).

You'll be right at home in Vancouver. Actually, the western provinces of Canada are not as liberal as many people think. If the American liberals want to move to Canada make them move to Quebec!

I still say just one well placed little earthquake, along the right fault, and California is ALL RED! That's true. I live in central California and we are for the most part rednecks and a pretty conservative lot. I think you would find yourself right at home in my neck of the CA woods. ;-)
