CNN just did a story about the disappointment of voters in blue states over the re-election of President Bush. It included "man on the street" interviews in New York where people (all Kerry supporters) voiced their disappointment with the same predictable rhetoric we have been hearing from the left for the past 2 days. In the interest of being 'fair and balanced' they also interviewed a 'Bush supporter'. Naturally, the Bush supporter they chose was some half inebriated homeless guy standing on a street corner with a bible who started rambling about how God had told him that he sent Bush to be our president, etc. while the interviewer condescendingly looked at the guy. The implication here was that all Bush supporters were these off-the-wall religious whackos. You can't tell me that they couldn't find one Bush supporter who works on Wall Street (for example) to balance this piece.
It's obvious that these people in the 'elite media' are doomed to repeat the same mistakes that caused the American people to issue a collective F*ck You on Nov.2nd. In a way I hope they keep up these tactics so we can issue the same FU in '08 when they put Hillary Clinton up as the next sacrificial lamb.
They don't get it because liberalism is their religion. How can they understand moral values when liberalism tells them their values are correct?
I think the red states/counties should start missionary trips to the blue states/counties.
Everything on CNN is a "biased piece". CNN is a piece -- a POS.
I agree, I hope they keep it up since it will make them losers until this nation is totally Republican... and being a descendant of fighters of the Republic of Texas... I have a great respect for the Republic... but bunnytrails aside... I think a healthy public debate is a good thing but the democrats have gone nutzoid for years now and not even offering up a reasonable debate of issues.
I shudder to even admit it... but I am hoping that they are an alternative 3rd party someone gets this country to serious debating the important issues on how to achieve our goals.
That is not saying I disagree with President Bush... I happen to be an enthusiastic supporter that count ourselves fortunate that we defeated the media (Kerry was a non-entity that would not have even been viable without the media)... but someone else is going to have to take over in four years... I would like it to be someone who wins the election based on solid values and ideas rather than one that says the right things well enough to FOOL the voters.

Dont worry about CNN or Nightline or even the deluded Paul Krugman in the NY Times.
We got the best revenge of all...
Watching them SQUIRM for 4 more years under President George W Bush.
I got distracted by a phone call so my last post was somewhat hazy... but I do think from what I am seeing from the media (who is doing their best to spin the election in such a way it does not reflect on how badly they 'got it wrong') and from the dems (who are blaming Kerry) they still do not seem to understand that liberalism is just wrong and (as the Write Wing Warrior creed says, our mission is to eradicate liberalism... one vote at a time.)
Let them keep repeating the same mistakes. It good for the country in the long run.
Who gives a defecation about CNN?
CNN still has that stunned shellshocked look about them.
They're gonna be "vewy angwy" when they come around...
I work in midtown Manhattan. I would love to be interviewed by...well...anyone. They said the margin in Midtown was 4-1 pro-kerry. I am that one. If it was 400000 to 1, I would still be that one.
I walk around outside at lunchtime and I wonder "How can all these people be so blind?" But they are.
I am lost in a sea of leftists up here.
I really feel for you. Must be pure hell. Do those libs up there sit around and talk politics? That would be hard to stomach.
My advice...move south maybe?
Take care.
The Dims won't get it either, they will continue to pander to their base [big money Hollywood and the leftist elites] whose STAR POWER garners media attention to their machinations. Their words and deeds can NOT be hidden and are out there for middle America to see everyday in the news and on TV.
Except for just a handful of all the Democrats on the scene today NOT ONE of them will even MENTION the word GOD in the public square. Pay attention, it just won't happen.
Clinton news network, it was given that moniker 12 years ago. they bent over so far backward for Billy boy, that you would believe they were the worlds greatest contortionist.
You think you have it bad, I was born and raised in Manhattan, out of my 58 years of life I have lived here for 52 of them, I live and work on the upper East side, I guess it could only be worse if I was located on the upper West side, which is a bastion of the most radical, foaming at the mouth Liberals any where in the U S A, I would like to tell all these interlopers to "get the hell out of my neighborhood. The Republicans are outnumbered here by 4 or 5 to 1, it wasn't that way when I was a youngster growing up here, but they would call that "progress" I guess.
All I want to say to W. at this time when it comes to a Conservative agenda is: LET'S ROLL!
