You are quoting from one of my 435 national weekly columns. I post those on FR as "Special to FreeRepublic." Most people have appreciated those, and said so. If you wish to avoid my byline, don't click on them.

I think it is a bit much that you should imply that I should not post a column on FR, which is also published nationally, because you personally don't like it.

As for the broader point, anyone who can walk and chew gum knows that it takes serious money to run for public office at the state or federal level. Practical warnings to people who are thinking about doing that, but don't have a clue about the mechanical process, can be helpful.

Every year for the 435 seats in the House there are thousands of hopeless candidates. These are people who file, print a few bumper stickers, and think that makes them candidates. Experienced people can look in the FEC data and spot right away the candidates who are road kill from the get-go.

National and state political parties tend to steer clear of such candidates. They might even have the party label because they won its nomination in a so-what primary. (For example: Joe Biden is a bum, IMHO. However, whoever won the Republican nomination in Delaware won a so-what primary.)

I have a feeling that HillarysLovelyLegs won a so-what primary, was road kill, and got her knickers in a twist because the Party wouldn't ride to her rescue. People who don't understand the process of running for office can get quite upset when reality doesn't square with their gross misconceptions.

Anyone who writes a national column about politics, but doesn't talk accurately about money in politics, is a fool. I do write a national column on politics. I've done so for almost ten years. If that upsets you, start writing your own column and stop reading mine.

Have a nice day,

Congressman Billybob

"People who don't understand the process of running for office can get quite upset when reality doesn't square with their gross misconceptions."

So sez a phony who has never run for office about a person who has run at least twice.

LOL

Insult away, small man.

The party not running to my rescue? Why did they have to? I got more votes than Bush in most of my cities.

The President, First Lady and Vice President personally endorsed me.

I had the endorsement of my party chair and the RNCC ( Republican National Congressional Committee) had begged me to run for two years.

I know what it takes to run. My showing was outstanding.

I have been fielding calls from all over the country about my next plan of action. The emails are pouring in from people who want me to continue.

Your lack of class and misogynistic comments are well noted. I ran a race and won more votes than the president. I was the one with the coattails.

So when it comes to roadkill, try to get those tiretracks off of your back.
