Was Terry Kerry Drunk Yesterday At John's Concession Speech?
11/04/04 | Tacis

Posted on 11/04/2004 7:25:21 AM PST by Tacis

I watched parts of Kerry's concession speech several times on C-SPAN and some of the cable channels.

There is no doubt in my mind that Terry Kerry, Traitor John's current wife had been drinking. Try this, if you see the portion immediately after Kerry's speech, turn off the sound and watch carefully.

Terry appears to move ackwardly; see actually bumps into Kerry a couple of times. Kerry graps her hand, not in an affectionate way but in a controlling way and locks fingers with her and controls her arm for an extended period of time. She turns her head up at him several times in what seems to be an exagerated stance.

If you get a chance, look at her performance and see if you don't agree with me that Terry Kerry appeared to have been drinking!

I noticed how difficult it seemed for her to negotiate the stairs when leaving the stage. Drunk or not, I'm sure glad that she will not be First Lady of these United States! On that note, happy birthday wishes to Laura! I hope that she loves her gift from the President...:)

A board like ours says 47 thinks that make irresistible sense, and then one ugly gloating at another human being's tragedy -- and you know which one catches the eye of the unconvinced and gets quoted over and over again forever as representative of all of us.

I don't think this is about casting stones, first or otherwise. At least that wasn't my point in my post. This is about the narrow escape this country just had--if 4 million conservatives had stayed home, that is what would have passed for First Lady for at least four years. I hope she gets help--Heaven knows, she can afford it--and gets over whatever it is. But for me, I am just really, really glad not to have to watch her for four long years as First Lady.

We do remember that Betty Ford WAS First Lady?

But I think we can have some fun for a few days.

Don Imus built this great image on his "Imus in the Morning" show of Kerry coming out onto his front porch to make his concession speech, and then TayRAYsah refusing to allow him back into the house.

the speech was delayed an hour (remember it was to be at 1pm) to get her sober enough to appear with him.

I posted that same thought yesterday, shortly after the event...but it's my opinion (having worked closely with a druggy) that she was doing some Prozac or something similar. She was definitely under the influence of something.

I am quite certain the mood would encourage one to imbibe.

I think Teresa is going to have to marry another Republican to become First Lady.

You know, I didn't say anything to my daughter sitting next to me because he's only 15, but I was watching for that! Crewel thought, but I did think about the possibility.
All someone in the crowd had to do was cream "MANDATE".

She's rich. She deserves to tie one on. If I was married to him, I would as well. I just hope she doesn't act stupid and decide to drive around town like so many of those knucklehead rich Hollywood types.

"I think you have it backwards... Shes been drunk for the last 6 months... Yesterday was her SOBER!!!"

Like the old adage huh, "didn't know she drank until I saw her sober one day."

We saw the same thing and when she stumbled I asked my husband if he thought she was tipsy. I wondered why also that the wives and families were't on stage behind kerry/edwards like normally is done. Even if there was not enough room for everyone, I would have thought Mrs. edwards and mrs. kerry would have been up there with them. I personally thought that kerry did not want the women up there in case they cried or something. AFter seeing the concession, I tend to believe there were other reasons. But yes, you are not alone in your thoughts. We saw the same thing and...she was "floating" not focused or controlled. Strange.

The woman is a wreck, spiritually, intellectually, morally, personally and socially.

The DNC should have vetted her. Not doing so invites all the scorn and ridicule.

Nah. The left wing arrogant liberal commie elitist extremist was really, really having a hard time being humble before man.

Agreed.

I really have no sympathy for THK in the political sense; I am certainly glad that she will not be our first lady. But that's where my interest in this woman ends.

In the months and days leading up to the election, the photographs I have seen of her range in expression from "unhappy" to "miserable". If I were to guess, I don't think she wanted to be put through an election at all. Perhaps she didn't see her husband as a viable candidate and indulged him (total guess) in the primaries.

Hate the ideas, not the brains that house them. We all bit our nails Tuesday evening and we had our monkeyfun all day yesterday in our drunken victory party, but I think it's time to get down to the business of what we do best here at the FR-- Be the front line of defense in the culture war, spread our ideas and crush leftist ideologies. Kicking folks when they are down just ain't right.

Best of luck to John Kerry and his wife. We'll be working hard to send you home to Massachusetts when your term is up.
