Well, since I was just a kid, I didn't create the problem either. I don't have a problem with the Republican Party, just Abe Lincoln. And by the way, you can blame most of the racial problems on Reconstruction and Federal Bayonet Rule........and don't even try to feed me any cr*p about how racism didn't exist in other parts of the country other than the south. Including your OWN state.

Agreed, racism exist everywhere, even today. Slavery however, was mostly in the South, and was the reason the Republican Party began in the first place: to end it!

Republicans have always been about freedom. For everyone...even Iraqis and Cubans!!! Our first slogan was

"Free soil, free labor, free speech, free men..."
