Get used to it. I was having those same exact thoughts today. The two parties are digging in like they did in WWI. For many if not most people, they pledge allegiance to the party like they do their football teams and they ain't changing. Demographics and income tax data tell us it will get worse and worse. We have implemented socialism lite but we WILL become truly socialist - no doubt about it. It's only a matter of time. I'm for putting off dying as long as possible. In the meantime stamp my forehead with a 666 and let's get on with it.

Americans are too independent and self-reliant to stand socialism for too long. Our rebellious genes will prevail.
