I say we just go straight home from work, then. No point voting if the race is already settled.
NOT.

Pete Coors has an uphill battle in Colorado ... the Hispanic vote (and there a lot of them, especially in Denver) are for his opponent.

No, he says Thune is ahead in early exit polls, as is Salazar. Nobody has won anything yet.

Right now I don't believe anything coming from Drudge.

Matinez also. The "early results" had Castor ahead. This probably spells good news for Bush, but it could be a long night.

Every single Salazar voter, when I ask, "Why?" has the same idiotic answer:
"I dunno."

I didnt say Coors had lost, just that he was behind.. Well yeah. I got that...what I mean is that probably a sizable chunk of the electorate has not yet voted since they're still working out west. We have time to change these numbers.

Somewhat good news. I'd prefer a Thune-Salazar combo to a Daschle-Coors combo . (Obviously, a Coors-Thune combo would be best)

On Drudge's page:
17:12:21 ET // UPDATE: Exit poll mania spread through media and campaign circles Tuesday evening after exit data from big media sources claimed Kerry competitive in key states.... FL Kerry +1 PA Kerry+2-4 OH Kerry+1 WI Kerry+4 MI Kerry+2 NH Kerry +4 // Senate Winners: Martinez FL Thune SD Bunning KY Salazar CO // Losers: Bowles NC Coors Co [CAUTION: Early 2000 exit polls showed Gore +3 in Florida; showed Gore-Bush even in CO [Bush won by 9], 2000 exits showed Gore +4 in AZ [Bush won by 6]]... Developing...

Please stop listening to Drudge. His numbers have been all over the place and he's said so several times on Hannity. His POINT is that we're at the mercy of Dan Rather with these poll results and compared exit polls this year to 2000 exit polls which were also wrong.
That said, I sure hope he turns out to be right about Thune, despite the fact that twice as many native Americans will vote than are registered to vote.

Ignore Matt Drudge!!! He is shamelessly exploiting anxieties to get web hits!!!
See latest from
http://www.powerlineblog.com/
...with sage advice:
There is a ridiculous rumor on the web that Kerry is ahead on exit polls...THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF THIS!...This untrue rumor was started on the web by two internet gossip columnists and one of them now admits that her source is "not exactly trustworthy."
No one knows who is winning right now---get out and vote!
Please forward this to your email friends and help stop this fraud from being spread around the internet.
Please do your duty and vote. Deserve victory!

I'm just thinking of the research I've seen on who tends to vote when. If the demographics I've seen hold true this time too, then the numbers should only get better.
