My husband just called me from Smith Station, AL and said the line is over 300 people long, at 1:15 pm CST - hour to hour and a half long wait. Told me to bring a lawn chair, rain coat and book when I get there after work.
Voted about 9 o'clock at small rural polling place in Lowndes county. Low turn out. Went on to check out county seat. Lot's of folks hanging out, but no lines at all. This is a "blue" county, one of the gerry-mandered minority districts.
