Ok, here's my confession. I bought my 17 year old son a "Hung like a Republican" t-shirt from Abercrombie & Fitch. I saw a photo of a supporter with one on, on a thread about a Bush/Cheney rally and thought it was a hoot. He's wearing it tonight to a friend's birthday party at Longhorn Steakhouse.

I haven't seen West Side Story in years.

Same here -- then by chance I caught it on TV two nights ago.

One thing that really jumped out at me after seeing it again was how much of the story was told in the *dance moves*. It made me aware that in recent decades dance in musicals has just become for show, and not used to actually "say" something.

I hid my daughters talking sponge bob behind the bed so I wouldnt have to listen to his irritating sounds anymore.

I tried that with my dachshund's squeaky toy, but she has such a good nose she tracked it down -- even though it was seven feet off the floor in a closed cupboard. She sat under the cabinet barking for it.

That must have been the same year when I was 11. In school, we had a mock election and I voted McGovern since everybody else was (Illinois).

When I got home and told my Dad, he really went ballistic yelling at me! I've forgotten lots of things from my childhood but that stands out!

Waco during the Branch Davidian standoff....this reporter was hitting on my friend while at a comdey club. We were sitting with a group of agents. I told him to come join us our table and introduced the guys as graduate students. I then asked this reporter what he thought of the standoff and his opinion of the FBI. He morphed into Mr. Bigshot, claiming the FBI had made numerous mistakes. After he spoke his mind, one of the agents smiled and slid his business card across the table to him. His reaction was priceless! Totally furious.
