Without any tinfoil, I wonder if ABC held on to it to LOOK like they were trying not to affect the election, then let the story come out?
ABC did not want you to know they had the tape until they released it. They have never tried to authenticate a tape before. They have released every Video they ever got almost immediately. The 'authentication story' is pure bullcrap. They were going to release it the morning after the 60Minutes story aired the night before.
