The anonymous source quoted in the original NY Times story may or may have not known the truth regarding this site when the story was written. The fact that an independent journalist was there with the troops when they first arrived at the depot on 4/10/2003 is far more persuasive than any unnamed source. The NBC report cuts to the heart of the Kerry campaign's complaint re the "failure to secure" the site. This is a major development which will turn this story on its ear.
