He's doing better than #2.
Second debate, easy....
Kerry says "everybody can play with these votes", meaning Kerry's voting record.
Bush TAKES his rebuttal time..."Nobody's playing with your votes" and he lists the danged votes in detail.
Bush says Kerry sits on the "far left bank" (Nice), and between Kerry and Kennedy, Kennedy is the conservative Senator from Mass.
What?! Schieffer to Bush: "Do you think homosexuality is a choice?"
Bush: I don't know, goes on to say we respect rights. Good answer. What a question.
He's doing alright except he sounds like he's whining talking about Kerry's record instead of responding on at least a few of Kerry's points. There's a REAL RISK that he'll be seen as "running out of material."
