Proven.

Hardly. Context, context, context. Context is everything. By taking my quote out of context, as you have done, you can have me saying any number of things, but doing so doesn't make them true.

Nowhere did I advocate being an asshole or trashing subways, as you've attributed to me. I only wrote that if one doesn't like what other people are doing that there is nothing forcing one to endure it.

Let's review:

Owl_Eagle wrote:

I don't want to slip on a dropped french fry, sit in a spilled soda or listen to a loud, stupid cellphone conversation.
In response I wrote:

If you don't want to slip on a dropped 'freedom' fry, then watch where you walk.

Similarly, if you don't want to sit in a spilled soda, then look before you plop your butt down.

If you don't like a loud, stupid cellphone conversation, then move to a different car/seat.

It's not that difficult and it certainly doesn't require a cop, nor does it require you to become Owl_Getz.

Again, no one if forcing you to take public transportation. It's a decision you make every time you get on a bus/train/subway. Dealing with these issues is a natural consequence of your decision. If you don't like the consequences, then next time, choose differently.

So, nowhere did I advovate being an asshole or trashing the subway and your assertion is not proven.

What has been proven is that you are a coward because you're willing to shoot someone in the back and that you're willing to say anything, even a lie, in order to gain an advantage.

Is this the same system that the infamous Fawn Hall got into trouble eating a banana?

Cell phones do not bother me at all. I often wonder why we complain about cell phone convos. It doesn't seem to be any diffent than if the person on a cell phone was talking to a seatmate.

Oh, my goodness! You're using the "nuance" defense! You're John F'n Kerry!

What has been proven is that you are a coward because you're willing to shoot someone in the back and that you're willing to say anything, even a lie, in order to gain an advantage.

It's not cowardice, it's being effective in removing a$$holes from the planet. I learned my trade in the Marines, and they taught me to not bother with a "fair fight." If that worries you, don't start a fight with me. And quoting your own frickin' words at you isn't lying. You said that it doesn't take cops to enforce this, and if one doesn't like the idea of the subways being s**tholes, one shouldn't ride the subway. You can't walk away from it, no matter how much of an idiot it makes you sound after the fact.
