Was it just me or did the so called "moderator" keep giving edwards an "extra" "rebuttal" to Cheney's "30 second" rebuttals??

She got confused but it was no biggie. The VP is very efficient, he doesn't use a scalpel, he uses a laser so he doesn't leave any arterial bleeders when he slices and dices.

It seemed to me she was giving Edwards extra rebuttal too. I think that is why she got confused at the end of the debate about who was suppose to get to respond first to the last question.

She asked better and fairer questions than Lehrer did, but she let Edwards get away with breaking a LOT of rules, and she didn't keep him reined in on the questions that were posed to him. Comparing her with Lehrer, I'd say she definitely did a better job, but that's kind of like saying that dying of a heart attack is better than dying in a car crash.
Didn't matter in the end - Cheney eviscerated Edwards in spite of the moderator.
