I can't quote it, because I don't have the book with me right now. But in essence, she holds that the liberals act the way they do because they believe they are gods. And since they are gods, normal rules of morality and decency do not apply to them.

yeah, but these [expletive]s will never give up, unless it is made clear to them in the least arguable of terms that to do so would be a very good idea on their part. You're almost right. There are three conditions that will cause them to give up
- We are totally enslaved and living in a police state modeled on the worst features of Nazi Germany and Cuba
- We are dead
- They are dead
They can not be reasoned with. They can not be appeased. They can not be won over by any number of statistics showing that they're wrong about public safety. The hold constitutional arguments and the second amendment in contempt dismissing these as not relevant to modern society.
The worship of government and the complete elimination of all human freedom (except sexual freedom) is a matter of religious conviction to them and the only thing that will stop them is total defeat or total victory.

Hey blackie, I need a 3-point sling like that. Actually, I need two: one for my 590 and another for my AK-47.
Do you know of a good source?
Thanks!

I have a "splitfire" sling on my bullpup AK, and love it.

I'll take condition #3 Alex!Considering that neoNazis like Schumer, McCarthy, and Clinton would prefer numbers 1 and 2 and I'm beginning to get the impression that a lot of Republicans secretly long for number 1 too. #3 has my vote.

We'd better work really hard to keep Kerry in Massachusetts.

Yeah, but it's getting to the point where the talking isn't going to be enough. We really can't trust our elected officials with our freedom.

No they won't! That is why I take very aggressive martial arts training, have a Glock 17, Colt Detective Special, Ruger 22 Rifle, Mossberg 500E, M9 Bayonet, Columbia River M16 Flip knife. All legally by the way if anyone cares.

I think if they're splitting hairs over the meaning of "the people" in the 2d Amendment, they'd have no problem splitting hairs over what they would argue was an "omission" of the "a" before the word "shotgun". Dan is right...don't put anything past these bas**rds. They want our guns and they don't care what they have to stoop to to get 'em.
Of course, Bush has shown himself to be somewhat less than stalwart in his support of our RKBA (thank God for Tom DeLay!), so a mere sKerry defeat will be no cause for celebration. We have to keep a cautious eye on all the scumbags who would disarm us if the polls said John and Jane Sixpack wanted it.

You're reading that phrase from the perspective of someone who does not want to turn the law into a broad prohibition against common sporting arms. You need to view this from the point of view of an anti-gun Federal prosecutor or Federal judge with an ax to grind. The lack of an indefinite article will not stop such a person from using this law as a ban on all shotguns that spring from a military design. Imagine what a Federal attorney and a Federal judge might do with a law like this in, let's say, San Francisco. In situations such as this, always assume the worst of others.

I'm being nitpicky, but that wasn't clear to me that it did not mean only semi-auto shotguns, and I certainly do not trust an AG, particulary a Kerry one, to make the distinction Ask yourself: WWJRD? (What would Janet Reno do?) The answer isn't "Leave the nice, law-abiding gun owners alone."
You are quite right to be concerned about that particular clause.
