I have been fighting with trolls for about 3-4 hours over that newsweek article. I bet I have defended W a million times against all the cry babies and whiners. If I didn't know better, I would think this room had been filled with Kerry supporters.

I think that is exactly what has happened. A troll convention has decended at FR. They're hoping to demoralize and de-energize Bush supporters. They're just stupid that way. It can't be done. We're not the over-emotional twits they are, thank God.

Free Republic matters. It's become an influential force in the body politik . Trolls and single issue nutcakes and goofykooks and solid stalwarts and family oriented grammas and Americanl heroes and heroines hang out here. Good stuff. Bad stuff. Exciting stuff!

That's pretty much why FR is influential. This place is a microcosm of the bigger political milieu. It's going to be ugly. Don't be afraid to get in the OOGLIE freepers faces. It's our obligation.
