No one has fallen on their face, no one has obviously won.

Both candidates are portraying themselves effectively (except the public likes Bush, but not Kerry).

Kerry has made great anti-war points, but 89% of Bush voters and 23% of Kerry voters support the Iraq operation.

Bush has hit two homers and a standup double, which I identified upthread.

I give it to Bush 3-1

Agree with most of your comment. Bush has played defense most of the debate, but has played well. His counterpunches have been effective on Kerry and diminished his points.
