I received this from Sharon today. She asked me to post it and it is to all of you, as well.
I dont know how to thank you for putting me in touch with all these wonderful people. I can feel the prayers. It was especially important to read these responses this morning. At 4:46 a.m. another rocket hit our camp and took out two trailers; one killed, 7 wounded (one critical). Not 10 minutes ago, as I was reading the threads another rocket hit. We all looked at each other in stunned silence because from the sound of it and how it continued to echo through the Palace, we thought we were hit. We all ran to the balcony and watched the plume of smoke rise. We are waiting to hear the results as it hit in the vicinity of one of our Generals buildings.
We know it is going to continue to worsen the closer we get to the elections (Iraqi). I ask not only for your continued prayers for me and all other coalition forces here but for the Iraqi people to have the courage and strength to stand up to the evil that faces them and cast their vote.
Love and prayers back at you and everyone else.
Sharon
If any of you don't want to be pinged to this thread please FR mail me. Take care.
Thanks for the update VG... prayers continue.
Praying for Sharon and her military family today and for the family of the one who lost his/her life today and those wounded.
She will read this, friends!
Can any of you three tell me how to do a ping list?
Prayers continue for all those brave enough to fight this evil, American, Coalition and Iraqi.
Prayers sent again.
When I see this going on in Iraq, I worry again for Afghanistan. Down to just over a week for their elections. Please remember our troops and the Afghanis also.
God bless you Sharon and Godspeed to all our beloved soldiers.
I'm glad you sent that to Sharon, valleygirl.
War is hell.
I'm glad she got our messages to her.
A ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
I'm so glad that Sharon could feel the prayers!
Sending them several times throughout the day, every day.
Bump!
Thanks so much for posting Sharon's messages. Constant prayers for her well being and safety.
Sharon: yes of course we will pray for the people of Iraq, how good of you to ask. Thank you for your service. Words can't say enough.
