In a controversial, hard hitting investigative report, these bloggers are said to influence media, politics.
Fate of entire journalistsic enterprise said to hang in the balance.
Why, it seems to mean Jack Germond and Johnny Apple will stunt pose for almost anything!

How can they accurately portray FR without interviewing anyone involved with it? Is Jayson Blair writing the piece? Do they want to have any credibility?
Is anyone else sick of FR being referred to as a blog? I know that the true blogs played a large role in the unmasking of SeeBS, but FR is widely recognized as being the instigator (thanks to Buckhead!!) of the forgery probes. And FR is not a blog.

The question is, are we going to fight back? I would assume that we'll keep doing what we've always done, a little bit better as we get more experienced. Hit pieces by the media have ZERO impact on the collective abilities of Free Republic.

FR is being ignored, really, every time they refer to a blog instead of a conservative forum.
A conservative forum full of bright professionals who notice their bias scares them FAR more than any mere blog.
I genuinely think that there's more stuff, in addition to this forged memo CBS bought, that DIDN'T come out, because "they" are afraid of much more than a blog, they're afraid of FR and our vast knowledge base.

Looks like the media is giving the blogs their 15 minutes.. 'Blogs', or more accurately Discussion Boards, have been around a lot longer than 15 minutes and will continue to be around. We don't need the media to give us 15 minutes.

It means that average people KICKED YOUR SMARMY asses all over the Internet and Broadcast waves with the truth you morons couldn't see because you had your head way up the Democrat Candidate's ass.
A different Sheriff is in town Plagerists and shills. Be prepared to have your every faxed and then reprinted DNC talking point taken apart word by word.
Used to be just because you worked for a Major Newspaper or Broadcast Station you got accepted as truthful. Today that has been prov en to be not the case.
Story after story, Columnist after columnist have pr oven to be hacks that either fake and fabricate stories or just plain copy it from someone else. (usually without credit)
I sometimes wonder, was it Senator Biden that taught the Press or the other way around on that?
Hey it's a brave new world, try the Truth for a while and see how it wears on you, It may become a fade among st members of the MSM. Imagine that!
