Good morning everyone in the canteen! How are all the troops and their families and friends? I feel like I have just come out of the dark ages. Hurricane Frances hit hard here on Sept. 4th, and I just got phone and internet service back last night. The phone I can live without (we have cell phones, of course), but I have missed Free Republic so much - you have no idea!!
My yard got hit pretty hard, 10 big trees down, and the roof is damaged and leaking. Otherwise, I cannot complain. When I see what happened to the poor people who got hit by Ivan, I am counting my blessings.

My Demented Sister, in Tampa, skated through most of it with little damage, and almost no loss of services. She claims to have put some juju on her house...

Man, PatriotGirl827....prayers sent for all, but glad to know that you are ok. Did your roof take a tree hit? I live in earthquake country and can't imagine sitting thru a hurricane. Did you stay at home, or did you have to evacuate? Welcome back. You were missed. How are you with Jeanne. Do we need to start worrying for you?
