Early this morning Fox news commentators were cracking jokes about Rather during their coverage of the Hurricane.

"..duped by Karl Rove who may have planted the fake documents in a way that Dan Rather could find them.."

Nah, to put them in a place where Dan Rather would find them for sure he would have the cooperation of John Kerry's proctologist.

This is good stuff. I'm a Texan, but it helps to see the visual connections.

I've been wondering today if Ronnie Earle, Travis County DA, fits into this web of deceit. He seems to jump whenever the Democrat Party wants to take down a powerful Republican.

I thought he had disgraced himself when he sued Kay Bailey Hutchison as a sitting Senator for using her office when she was Treasurer to campaign, then threw in the towel just before the case went to the jury.

But, he's back, like a mad proctologist, sticking his finger up Tom DeLay's PAC.

Texas Democrats are wandering in the wilderness now. They stand to lose at least four seats in the Texas House delegation (and it will likely be six), and have to stand on the sidelines while the Texas GOP decides who's going to be the next governor.

All they can do is try to tear down Texas politicians, and Bush would be the Grand Prize. They've tried to kill this king before, and he's beaten them every time.

What could be worse?! I know! I believe I read here this morning that Von Os worked or partners with Anne Richards' (former Texas Governor who lost to George W.)husbands law firm. She is the Grand Dame of Texas democratic pols. And on the Ace of Spades blog, there are some photo's of Von Os with Carville. The plot is Ever so thick.

Just about everything bad that ties back to the Texas Democrats is somehow connected with Travis County. The entire county is a corrupt Democrat machine, especially their DA.

I think you may have overlooked one of the most obvious links between the Austin crowd and the Kerry Campaign.

Help me out on this fellow Texas Freepers and correct me if I am wrong.....
but wasn't Mary Beth Cahill Tony Sanchez' campaign manager in 2002 when he ran against Rick Perry?

Barnes, Cahill, Rather, Van Os, Burkett...seems to be a pattern!

Ben Barnes was supposed to be LBJ's bagman. To get government contracts, you'd have your attorney go to LBJ's attorney to make a campaign "contribution." Magically, you'd then get the government contract.

In the meantime, LBJ would send a few trusted flunkies to various banking centers with "campaign" ca$h.

So it's difficult to believe that scandal-ridden Barnes' 1968 post to Switzerland (an LBJ appointment) was mere coincidence.

Likewise, I suspect that you'll find all sorts of interesting "coincidences" regarding Senator Kerry's early schooling in Europe, where he met his 2nd wife for the 1st time, her background, etc.

Ok, my bad!

Just found the information I was thinking about.

Molly Beth Malcolm was the previous chair of the Texas Democratic Party.
I don't believe Mary Beth Cahill had anything to do with the Tony Sanchez campaign.

Both ladies have short silvery hair and of course both have the same middle name.

Still, I find your chart and arguement very convincing.

The only thing you left out is the possibility that Ann Richards' daughter is also a part of this whole scheme. The August 2004 Texas Monthly article "The Daughter Also Rises" details the hatred that the Richard's family holds toward George W Bush. Remember the Liberal mindset "the end always justifies the means".

Dan Rather later apologized for participating in the fund raiser.

And as I recall, Dan Rather claimed he didn't know the function would be a fund raiser.

Yeah right. Your daughter invites you to attend and you don't even know what she's asking you to attend??

Riiiiight, Dan.

Lyndon Baines Johnson used to own some television and radio stations. In fact, didn't his widow recently sell off the last of the radio stations? Were any of those in Travis county? Were any CBS affiliates? Putting ole LBJ in the middle of a network of stinky political corruption would be fitting.
