Good find. My question is this: how did the Kerry campaign know in April that Bush failed to show up for a physical? I thought I had read (and granted, I haven't been able to keep up with the millions of words written on this subject) that this "newly discovered memo" that CBS claims is authentic was the first indication that Bush missed a physical.

Read upthread about the attorney's parsing about memos typed in 2004, then read my response. I think they were created in 2003. This was supposedly their big strategy to win.

President Bush didn't miss a physical.
The forged memos purport that the President failed to show for an ordered memo in May however, physicals were required to be taken by the birth date month. President Bush's birth date is July 6. He would not have been order to take a physical in May. Even the old secretary let that slip last night. (I read)

This missing physical has been dredged up in every election since his campaign against Ann Richards in Texas.
The George Magazine article in Oct 2000 (Gee - The timing sound the same - last weeks before an election to pull up National Guard records?) is actually fairly even-handed and straight-forward.
It's hatred.
