A rhetorical question on Russian preemptive attacks against their terror suspects. What are the chances of Ivan and Uncle Sam staring at each other through their gun sights. Not in the immediate future. I expect that the preemptive strikes will focus upon Chechnya and Georgia Republic. These areas have been a thorn in Russia's side for a long time. That has and will keep them and their resources occupied for a while.

Agreed. I think it's more likely we'll have to take on Iran. The question is whther it'll be before the elections or immediately thereafter, assuming GW is reelected. Also there is the question as to whether Israel can afford to wait for the politics in our country to settle themselves or if they'll act unilaterally for their own survival.
