Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the Suffering Christ, hated by the world which was created by Him, that He might save by His Blood, His very own creation. Were it not so, we would be eternally lost.
And were it not that men are called out from the world, the Gospel of Christ would not go forward. But You have commanded that we are to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation .." Mark 16:15.
We thank You, O God, for those who have been obedient ... who have been hated because they bring the Light of Truth into a darkened world ... who have been slain because they are Christians. Unknown numbers have been brought into the Kingdom because they lived, and died. Bless the works of their hands from generation to generation, for "greater love has no man than this, that a man gives up his life for his friends." John 15:13.
Comfort the families of those so cruelly slain ... their grief is but brief in the span of eternity, but so extraordinarily painful in the confines of daily life. Their mourning shall turn to joy because of their love for You.
And so may it be, Merciful Father, that those who now hate You and Your children, will be awakened by the Power of the Holy Spirit, they will repent, and they will be cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb. Such is the love and prayer of those who go forward as missionaries. Thank You, O God, for these, and for those who come after. In the Name of Jesus, we praise You, Amen ...
and Amen.
