As Promised. Pictures From Our First College Republicans Meeting!
The OSU College Republicans ^ | Conservativeman55

I posted the thread here....with the promise of an update! Well here it is!

Guys I am so excited because last night we had over 300 people show up for our first college republicans meeting here at OSU. (Oklahoma State)

Dr. Tom Coburn..candidate for US Senate came and spoke. I will have more pictures to add to this thread soon..that I took. But for now..notice the Republican flag behind Dr. Coburn?

That came from my room! We used it to decorate! Dr. Coburn is quite blunt. He reminds me a lot of Zell Miller.

He answered every question asked. And informed us on things like crop insurance, term limits, the war on terror, health insurance, judges, immigration.

When asked about the judicial nominees crisis he responded. I'll make sure that NOTHING gets done until those nominees are either given an up or down vote. It will be locked up.

He also informed us of what Ted Kennedy, Ted Turner, and Scotty Pippen have in common? They all own bad crops. They buy crops they know won't grow, and then cash in on the insurance.

I am always impressed with how attractive college Republicans are, and this is no exception: beautiful girls and handsome lads. Reflects their inner moral character and strength. Good luck!!!

There were literally people sitting on the floor. On both sides.

Good... that is what you want. ALWAYS find a room that just fits the crowd you are expecting. A full to over-flowing room always makes better press than a 1/2 empty room.

Thanks, Tax! I think Coburn will make it and I have seen many Bush/Cheney yard signs here in the Grove.

You're going to enjoy having Dr. Coburn in the Senate.

If he is a TRUE Republican, I KNOW I will enjoy having him in the Senate.

I think Coburn's people were thinking the same thing.

The room could have expanded to be bigger, but we closed it off a little bit.

I sure hope so. Nothing personal, but polically speaking, he's a creep.

I'll find some quotes from him..and I know you'll like him. LOL!

"When I'm elected. The judicial nominees will either get an up or down vote. The Senate may come to a complete stop until that happens."

"Close the borders off. If you're here illegal. Go home.

"What do Scotty Pippen, Ted Kennedy, and Ted Turner all have in common? They all buy bad crops that they know won't grow, and cash in on the insurance. They make millions."
