Where was Putin when the United States asked for his help while rooting Saddam out of his hole?

When Abraham Lincoln was dealing with true rebels (not terrorists who murder children), he said that sometimes it is necessary to cut off an arm to save the body.

Don't be surprised if Putin now issues the following orders: Russian forces massively invade Chechnya to provide a corridor of safe exit for anyone loyal to Russia. After a specified period of time--days, not weeks--anyone remaining will be deemed to be an enemy combatant. Russian forces will then withdraw, and Putin will order the complete devastation of Chechnya.

Putin was just at the right place - fighting Nazi-Wahhbism, THE REAL ENEMY. Sadam had strict laws AGAINST Wahhabism. Saudi Arabia is the moral and financial supporter of Nazi-Wahhabists. Someone is fighting the wrong wars but it ain't the Russians.
