My God. Did the same thought occur to all of us at about the same time? I had the same thing pop in my head a bit ago.
Pray

I am in agreement with you on prayer.

In addition to the CIA, FBI and SS, Bernard Kerrick is at the RNC. Maybe it'll go smoothly after all.

I share your feelings on this.
There are still a handful of those at FOX that I still enjoy, but there seems less with each passing day.
BTW.....At the northwest corner of Washington State, it is clear blue sky and dry here today. LOL
To: Dog
Simple, national security concerns. Need to preserve the presidential succession order in case anything happens in NYC.

is that what he was starting to say? I was half listening and caught something that sounded like "Rus...." and missed the first part of the statement.
That would be so cool if true!
To: Dog
They aren't at the convention so that the US goverment can maintain its command structure in the event of an attack on the RNC. As you can see the Pres, and VP are at the convention, along with alot of other dignitaries. Someone has to take over in the event of a disaster.
To: Dog
VP, SOHOR, PPTOS, SS, SecDef, others will all be at separate secure locations tonight.

I was watching C-Span and they had Senator McCain doing a question and answer session with some delegates. I learned something important.
Senator McCain said they were going to court because the 527's were already in violation of election law. NOT McCain Feingold, but the 1974 law which says that any organization which collects money to advocate a candidate or attack him MUST comply with the donor limits set for political parties!!!!
I cannot believe none of us on this site knew this! I have no reason to believe McCain is lying...he knows all this stuff inside out. How in the world have we let that RAT on the FEC ignore the law!!! THAT is why they are going to court!!
A pox on the press, who could have reported this! Scumsuckers, all!
To: Soul Seeker
There is no wat Rs want Rush there tonight.
Remember, election is not decides by hard core C or L types, but by winning MOR votes.
Rush is right,,,, but radioactive.

It may take away from cable coverage, but the networks are committed to covering the convention; all of the cable news networks are as well.
Big coverage on the hurricane won't be until tomorrow, and it will take away from both candidates.
I have faith that the President's message will get out. Be of good cheer.
To: mystery-ak
Probably they would have to return the $500,000 that got them started. However, they will easily collect more than that from small donors.
MoveON, on the other hand, would have to make up Soros $5 million contribution from small donors, and I don't think they would have an easy time of it. Not to mention Jane Fonda's money, the insurance executive's millions, etc. etc.
