What about "Lets Roll!"

How Many Minutes? Lets Roll!

Wow - just sat there doing nothing! Should have jumped up and ran out of the room - except he couldn't because HE WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR! Yep, FDR sat there silent for 18 minutes after the Pearl Harbor attack unable to function. More then twice the time President Bush took to act and not quite half the time Kerry claimed (40 minutes according to his reports!) Check it out - Michelle Malkin.

Bravo to LifeTrek, Michelle Malkin and most of all to the Washington Times for pointing this out.

The Dems attempt to make hay from Bush's perceived delayed response is far worse than any GOP politicizing of the successes of post 9/11 anti terrorism efforts.

Not true.  This was FDR heading for the War Room.

I know that's a picture of a Brit man who souped up his aunt's wheelchair with a jet engine (as reported today on Paul Harvey), but when I saw that picture, I get uncontrollable thoughts of a wheelchair-bound man after a Texas chili feed.

What's more, FDR knew the Pearl Harbor was coming.

* * *

On October 7, 1940, Lieutenant Commander Arthur McCollum of the Office of Naval Intelligence submitted a memo to Navy Captains Walter Anderson and Dudley Knox (whose endorsement is included in the following scans). Captains Anderson and Knox were two of President Roosevelt's most trusted military advisors.

The memo, scanned below, detailed an 8 step plan to provoke Japan into attacking the United States. President Roosevelt, over the course of 1941, implemented all 8 of the recommendations contained in the McCollum memo. Following the eighth provocation, Japan attacked. The public was told that it was a complete surprise, an "intelligence failure", and America entered World War Two.

Page 4, The McCollum Memo: The Smoking Gun of Pearl Harbor

This memo, which proves that the government of the United States desired to lure Japan into an attack, was declassified in 1994. There was no such smoking gun on 9/11, despite occasional left-wing Democrat rhetoric that Bush knew.
