Could this thing gather up enough steam and easterly flow to get across the state and into the Atlantic intact and then proceed up the coast? Or are they still counting on it taking an overland track north?

I just heard speculation that there was some fear this could hit the atlantic, build again, and slam into the carolinas.

Looks like it will make it across the peninsula and into the atlantic. Just issued Hurricanes warnings/Watchses from Cocoa Beach northward.
