"Kill the MoFo"
My sentiments exactly. Then hunt down the creatures that follow him.

Isn't "al Sadr" in Iraq sort of comparable to, say, "Smith" in the US? If it is the fat little punk, I hope the USMC or whoever caught the rat, grants his wish to shed the last drops of his blood. What a loudmouth pus**.

Thanks for the laugh!
Think I will too.

Has Carlson officially backtracked on this or further acknowledged it at all? After nearly 24 four hours without even the slightest confirmation, this was clearly a false report, right? Isn't Sadr too high profile to have his capture go unnoticed for this long?
Oh well, I still have hope that there's a good chance that the current round of attacks on Najaf will return some good news on al Sadr soon.

I have been listening to the first 2 hours of John Carlson, and not a word. Like someone said in an earlier post, I think the source in Iraq is Brian Suits, who use to do the 6-9pm sho on KVI radiobefore his reserve unit was called up.
My opinion - He may have been a little too eager to break this story. It's one thing when Freepers get excited about a rumor like this, but a radio host who is broadcasting to thousands should have a little bit more descression before saying anything. But then again, who knows maybe the story is true and there is a news blackout for security reasons. I want so bad to give John the benifit of the doubt.
Fingers still crossed. I will keep my ears open.
