What do you expect? He has not found it necessary to visit the wounded at Walter Reed or comfort the families of the troops killed in Iraq like the president did I think Kerry's a showboating prima donna and a jerk. However, if he'd shown up at Walter Reed, we'd probably be complaining that he was doing it for campaign purposes, and the wounded would probably complain that he was using them. In this he can't win no matter what he does, so I'm going to cut him some slack on visiting the wounded. The "I was in Combodia" stuff is another matter. It's now apparent that that was a lie, so he deserves everything he gets.

It appears that he (Kerry) committed treason if the facts bear out. Especially during war time. I spent a few years in the mid 60's close to San Francisco and I know first hand how the Fonda/Kerry leftists caused us (Army) to be humiliated/spit on/cussed out whenever we had to go off base. As General Giap says - Kerry may not have won the war for him but he kept them from losing (paraphrased). Giap admitted the north was finished after the losses of the Tet offensive and they were trying to arrange for an honorable truce BUT AFTER SEEING THE SUCCESS OF FONDA/KERRY IN TURNING AMERICA AGAINST THE TROOPS, IT TURNED IT AROUND FOR NORTH VIETNAM.

Per some other articles/threads, Kerry said President Nixon was the one who ordered them into Cambodia Christmas 1968. Kerry says they took 'friendly fire' from South VietNamese celebrating Christmas Eve. Yet, Nixon was not sworn in as President until January 1969.
And, The Vietnamese don't celebrate Christmas !!!!!

And, The Vietnamese don't celebrate Christmas !!!!!The 10 percent who are Catholic do, but not by firing their M16s, that's more of a Tet or Khmer New Year thing.
I'm also dubious that he was being fired on by the Khmer Rouge (part of his "inside Cambodia" claim). The KR numbered less than 9,000 even by 1970, and operated mostly out of Siem Reap and the Southwest (Sihanoukville).
In 1968 the KR would have been out assaulting the provincial capitols and Phnom Penh, not down in the muck of the Bassac river looking for Americans who weren't allowed to be there in the first place.
None of it makes any sense.
