Seriously, I agree.
We will have to change our mindset 180 degrees from what we have been programmed to do all of our lives.
If it happens, trust no one but immediate family!
Oh, no. Nothing to do with Threads, actually.
It's just what has always been evident to me. Nobody can protect us, not really. We have to be vigilant and wary, we have to take care of those around us.
We'll have to get to the point where people on a local/state level respond as was done in the Civil War.
Even the elderly, including my ancestor who was in his late 60s, very old then, was part of a state militia. He was one of those whose job it was to protect the bridges in his area. He was an immigrant, from Germany, and I can believe he must have been proud to protect his adopted land.
I only hope we have enough immigrants today who want to be true citizens of their new land, as he and my other ancestors were.
