Isn't that hilarious. The whole convention was a joke. It was fun listening to Sharpton.
Good evening everyone!
howdy :)
How many speakers with former or current criminal records have spoken at the Democrat Convention? Was this a banner year?
Drudge talking about the new book "Unfit for Command" coming out that will be devastating for Kerry. Saying it is too powerful for them (the press) to ignore. Really wound up over this.
(aside - I was over there in country (50 weeks) during that time on a patrol boat and most of the time it was tedium; five or seven days on patrol, one or two days off to refuel and resupply, bouncing in the high monsoon waves, salt water and wet uniforms, A/C not usually working. Job was to inspect junks for weapons, munitions, contraband, etc., occassional fire support, none of us were gung-ho to get in a firefight and certainly we didn't target civilians, villages, children, etc.) On Thursday night I was red with rage as JfnK started his speech with a salute and reporting for duty words. He doesn't know the meaning of the word. Yes we were a band of brothers, all volunteers, but if someone acted like Kerry apparently did, we'd want to get as far from him as possible. [sorry about the rant])
A woman called up Howie Carr saying she worked on those damned balloons all week, and was depressed that they didn't come
down right. Pride in her work, even though she had nothing to do with the incompetent execution.
He said it is too powerful for them to ignore, in part because of the way Kerry keeps parading his Vietnam buddies who like him and ignoring the ones who thought he was a crappy leader and a jerk. Hypocrisy never stopped democrats, though, so who knows how it's all going to shake out. Never apologize for ranting against Kerry. :)
Taylor, Michigan tonight ..
No. He's not singing the anthem either. ;-)
Specifics on the building terror alert came from a 25-year-old computer geek 10 days ago in Pakistan. How about that.
(Why did it take 10 days to go from lemon to tangerine?)
what are the details on that?
A tourist walks away from the bull statue near Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange (news - web sites). US authorities ordered increased security in New York and Washington after warning that Osama bin Laden (news - web sites)'s al-Qaeda network may be planning new attacks on financial and corporate targets in the two cities.(AFP/File/Mandel Ngan)
This 21 May 2004 file photo shows a US currency themed panda sculpture in front of the World Bank (news - web sites) headquarters in Washington, DC. The United States raised its terrorist alert because of 'alarming' indications that al-Qaeda may attack symbols of international finance such as the IMF (news - web sites) and World Bank headquarters in Washington and the New York Stock Exchange (news - web sites).(AFP/File/Tim Sloan)
Mabye they couldn't find the Crayons!
An NRST would require an amendment, which would also presumably repeal the XVIth to make it replace the income tax's position in law completely. Without a repeal of the XVIth, and NRST is not only unconstitutional, but also pointless.
Breaking huge news.
We got the hard drive of AQ. Sources and Methods, list of specific targets here in NYC and NJ. Awesome!
Benedict Arnold was a competent commander. From what I've been reading about Kerry, the same can't be said about him.
