The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

Australia and Italy have received warnings through a statement purportedly from militants linked to al Qaeda that demanded those countries withdraw troops from Iraq.

Underground Explosions (Colorado)

A series of underground explosions Thursday night prompted the evacuation of dozens of residents north of the intersection of Fillmore and Cascade in Colorado Springs.

Around 8:15 p.m., residents reported that several manholes were "blowing up" in the area. As a precaution, Cascade was closed from Fillmore to Winters. Sunflower Road was also closed.

There was a manhole in my neighborhood that blew up a few years ago. Electricity caused it. Is this the same thing?

Lately though, there seem to be more instances of flying manhole covers.

This particular story states the cause as unidentified thusfar.

Also a wildland fire at Elmer City,WA one mile southeast. BTW, Elmer City is about a mile from Grand Coulee Dam. 1 structure lost. An incident management team dispatched last night. No media coverage. So far, the power is OK
