I concur....he is one of the founders of the modern Conservative movement...while we might not agree with some of his stances on things (ie: legalizing marijuana), all I'm saying is let's not slam the guy for the way he talks...heck, at least he isn't as blantantly unbelievable (in the way he talks) as the way Barney Fwank is!

If not for Bill Buckley, I doubt the Free Republic or Rush Limbaugh or any number of conservative mainstays would be around. Or, if they were, they would be completely marginalized. Rush and Hannity and Savage and O'Reilly and Hewitt and Boortz, etc. would not be drawing 30 million listeners a week if not for Buckley and the foundation he laid.
