NBC breaking says for sure it's Edwards for veep
Pompous windbag metrosexual gigolo meets pretty boy Floyd.
Edwards LOOKS dumb, has nearly zilch experience and couldn't step into the presidency if something were to happen to Kerry.
"blowdryers" LOL Just what I was thinking. The dims went for the pretty face, who woudda thunk it! LOL Are they shallow or what?
Are they calling it a farm????
Wasn't 8 years of Slick, and the perpetual thorn of Teddy enough for a thousand lifetimes?
Don't worry; Mo1 has each and every one of those bookmarked.........LOL.
Nothing new about that. The Dems are still using the cemetaries to win elections. GWB lost Michigan and Pennsylvania because of the voter fraud in Detroit and Philadelphia. Dade county almost pulled it off in Florida and St Louis in Missouri.
That bounce may in fact turn out to be a hollow thud, sort of like the half deflated ball used to play kick ball in elementary school with, it would soar and barely roll but wouldn't bounce.
My family 4th had several F911 fans. A doctor and an Ad-guy couple. Felt it was their sacred duty to try to convert everyone there. I brought up how WJC and Aunt Bea bombed Sudan because Iraq was helping Bin Laden build a chemical weapons plant. They acted like I said christmas would be cancelled. (Oops forgot, they are of secular (nonreligious) jewish (non)faith).
(dead·wood ( P ) Pronunciation Dead branches or wood on a tree. One that is burdensome or superfluous)
The "barn" is to house all HER SUVs, not cows.
As I predicted.
Do two John's make a flush?
Isn't Edwards a one term Senator? Like the country is going to trust a trial lawyer as a VP. Well, the leftists will anyway.
How does this affect Hillary?
She has previously mentioned an October surprise.
To get Kerry off the ticket, Edwards would move to spot #1. Would a ticket with 2 single-term Senators work? Probably not. Barring some great secret, it would be difficult to pry Edwards off the ticket.
Thus, the October surprise now seems moot. It would seem most likely that Hillary has written off 2004, expects (and may even help coordinate) a Kerry-Edwards loss, and has clear sailing to 2008.
Unless GWB's numbers plummet to the low 40's, it would seem Hillary may bypass 2004.
The bounce will exist and will dissipate by the convention.
I'm wondering why no one else is mentioning a possible negative reaction from the labor unions? Kerry NEEDS their help, and I'm not sure this is going to make them happy.
I agree. For the Dims, Edwards was the only real choice. And for Kerry, it's a real poke-in-the-eye to the Clintons, as I understand Edwards was the LAST person Hildabeast wanted on the ticket, as it overshadows her. Kerry/Edwards will be tougher contest for Bush/Cheney than any other ticket. This may well cut into Bush's Southern stronghold, but to what extent is still unclear.
Damn. The good news is you're still around, and hopefully kidney stone-free for the rest of your life.
