You know that the networks have these items made up in advance so they can post them more quickly when the actual day arrives? This may have been a goof by somebody.
There was a case a year or two back when the death of a celebrity was inadvertantly reported-can't remember who, Reagan maybe??-and it turned out that some technician had pressed the wrong button.
This is taking too long to be real. Expect the usual "... reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated" denial.
Networks have obituaries and such ready to go so they can post them more quickly. This is a 3 sentence article telling us that he died, not his obit. Doubtful that this was made up early.
