The future of the Republican Party, currently, looks grim, however, you must also think about how the Democratic Party looks. George W. Bush leadership on the Iraq War is not that good, and left-wing media is there every time you turn around. The only thing Bush has going for him is the economy, which is a big plus. So he might not get another term. But lets think about John F. Kerry winning. He could be the greatest president this nation has ever seen (highly unlikely though), but he is bad news for the Democratic Party.
Many people still believe that the Democratic Party is the party for the lower class. History has proved them wrong, but the party has marketed themselves that way. John Kerry has $1000 haircuts, $5000 bike, 4 mansions, a multi-million dollar jet and he is not even president yet, and a $350,000,000 wife, not to mention a multi-billion dollar middle name. Don't mean to attack Kerry personally, but how is this going to look on the lower class (especially when the Democratic Party likes to cause class hatred)? Kerry is also marketing himself to the upper-upper class, which has been voting more and more Democratic every year. Doesn't help that Kerry is also pretty much a Socialist (and the majority of the Democratic Party dating back the FDR and his New Deal policy) and a rich socialist doesn't look good to the public.
We have seen over the past few years, more and more minorities joining the Republican Party. Do they finally realize that they are all talk? Very few things get done when a Democrat is in office (take John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton for example) and maybe now they realize that they don't have the idea.
John F. Kerry will typecast the Democratic Party into a snobby, uptight, won't-accept-any-thing-that-isn't-Frech like attitude, and if the Republicans become more aggresive, it will return their image into a party for the people by the people.
The younger generation have often come to realize the Democratic Party as being anti-First Amendment party with it's heavy use of political correctness. Plus, the Dems have few or no outreach programs for teens. They just assume that every teen likes the life of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll, which will assure them of future votes.
No need to worry. Just sit back and watch the Democratic Party self-destruct. (Like some of you already are)
"George W. Bush leadership on the Iraq War is not that good"
you lost me there. History will scratch it's head over the way Bush's leadership of the pacification of two countries rife with terrorists was denigrated...and how it was relatively bloodless, as country conquering goes...
You don't need to buy pot from him. You need to buy him a standard English grammar book.
As the war goes on and more soldiers die, I start to think if this war was really necessary. We all thought there was weapons of mass destruction, but we can't seem to find them and we will never convince the public that they are they, until we find them. Our soldiers are too important to be out there dying for these lunatics, and I don't believe we will ever establish democracy in the Middle East, but I have been wrong before, namely this article.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests -- we did. But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg -- isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!
Tea leaves. Smoking, not reading.
"Knowledge is good".
Let me give you a word of advice -- if you don't want to get criticized, perhaps it's not a good idea to post two vanities of your adolescent ramblings in one day.
You have some things to experiance and learn, but it will come.
You have a good start however, in my humble opinion.
Where in Arkansas are you?
Sit, Brian, sit. :)
