Bush may well be losing the propaganda war - but that has more to do with the WHs poor communications war room (or lack of it), then any reality on the ground. we all know the media is biased of course.
but when stuff like this happens, Bush should immediately walk into the press room and give a statement. He can't allow the media to blame these deaths on him and get that into the news cycle for the sheeple as they go hoem from work and get the news on their car radios. But again, the WH has no media strategy.
Exactly. GW keeps playing this PC crapola & he is close to losing this election. He looks weak internationally, he looks weak in Congress. Then we look at the other faction of this "Two-Party Catel" & see a midget & midget-mind followers.
The problem with Bush's making a public statement after one of these beheadings, is that it gives them importance that they don't deserve and gives terrorists just what they want. Bush is in a box, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. And where are the Iraqi police? Why can't they track down and arrest or kill these creeps? Clearly, everyone is waiting to see what happens when the new govt. takes over. I suspect some are wondering if Saddam will be freed. Maybe the answer is for America to turn off the news and trust that our military is getting the job done. I think the sensible advice is to ignore each and every terrorist act and concentrate on our goals. But it's hard to act sensibly and with patience when you see that poor Korean man's heartbroken parents.
