The comment in this article are almost hopeful. But what bothers me is that the people interviewed refer to squabbles between the Republicans and the Democrats.

They are right when they say we need to unite, but if I had to choose a party that is fighting the war on terror, and I will have to choose in November, I see that the Republicans are fighting the war and the Democrats are fighting the Republicans. It's the Democrats that need to stop "squabbing".

"I think they are backing off and attacking people who don't shoot back," Mr. Reynolds said. "I think we are doing the right thing and need to get a little more aggressive."

An electrical contractor from Colorado has a far better grasp of foreign policy than all the Decomcatic experts, diplomates and college professors lumped together.

Your post is right on. And true. It IS the Dems attacking Repubs. Reminds me of "girlspats". I sure went through my share. Some chick going after me; others watching and slamming both of us. Really used to gripe me. Until I understood the reason the chick was going after me was because she had nothing positive going on in her life; and she figured if she could destroy me, my reputations, she had something to be joyful about. This, in a nutshell, is the Dem agenda.
