I'm glad Rush is who he is and doesn't try to make everyone happy. In therapy, Rush learned that he couldn't make people happy, that people are in control of their own happiness.
After reading some of the posts here, I'm glad he learned that valuable lesson.

Maybe Rush stopped enabling Marta (just a theory) and she didn't like it.
