Well it's possible you're wrong. Michael evidently did not get along with the mother who adopted him, Jane Wyman, when younger and went to live with Ronald and Nancy Reagan. And Nancy and Michael did not get along during that time.
Patti was always rebellious and she and Nancy didn't get along either, though they do now. Patti resented the fact that her family was a public one. Michael has always wanted to be more a part of the family with Ronald and Nancy. Heard this on FOX today. I can't recall the full name of the book that Michael wrote. Was it "On the Outside Looking In"?
Looks as though that is still the case, perhaps more than ever. Hardly call that gracious or faithful to her husband's memory.
